About Hallym Korean Language Education Center
The Hallym University Korean Language Education Center (Hallym KLEC) offers the Intensive Korean Language Program, designed to help international learners build strong Korean communication skills in all areas. The program is open to foreigners and overseas Koreans living in Korea, providing systematic lessons on Korean language and culture.
Since its establishment in 1982, Hallym University has been recognized as a distinguished university by the Ministry of Education and has been selected for funding by the Brain Korea 21 Project. The university maintains academic exchanges with 85 universities in 23 countries worldwide.

Level 6:
Students will be able to speak professionally in school or at work when they wish to attend universities or companies in Korea. They will also be able to understand professional books, TV news, and newspapers. This level is specially designed for university entrance preparation.
Completion Requirements
To successfully complete each level, students must meet the following requirements:
- Attendance: Minimum 80% attendance rate (160+ hours out of 200 hours)
- Academic Performance: Achieve passing grades in all evaluation components
- Course Evaluation: Participate in mid-term and final examinations
- Class Participation: Active engagement in classroom activities and assignments
※ Students who meet all requirements will receive a certificate of completion for that level.
※ Students who fail to meet attendance or grade requirements may need to repeat the level.

1. Eligibility Requirements
- Foreign nationals and overseas Koreans who wish to study Korean language
- Applicants who have completed high school education or equivalent
- Applicants who can provide proper educational documentation according to their country's regulations
- Applicants with no disqualifying reasons for studying in Korea
- D-4 visa applicants must register for at least 2 consecutive semesters
⚠️ Important Note for D-4 Visa Applicants
- You must apply for a minimum of 2 semesters (20 weeks) to be eligible for D-4 visa issuance.
- Applicants from countries notified by the Minister of Justice may need to submit additional documents including Apostille verification.
2. Application Procedure
